Via Slashdot, a warning for anyone with a Dell Inspiron 9400 and, possibly, a Dell Inspiron 6400 notebook computer. It appears that the chassis of the unit becomes charged with as much as 139 volts of AC which can cause various unpleasant effects like mild electric shock and frying of internal components such as the RAM. The solution is to get a three-pronged grounded power adapter (one wonders why such adapters aren't standard equipment).
