Jack TV down
Every so often I stop in at Jack in the Box for breakfast on the way to work. Since their remodeling, they have a couple of widescreen LCD televisions that show "Jack TV" which shows some little videos (often starring the antenna balls), the local weather and traffic, a couple of news tickers, etc.
This morning, the displays were blank, except for what was in the upper left corner: A pair of Tuxes sitting side by side.
Now of course the obvious response to this will be "Yeah but Windows still crashes far more often," so there's no need for anyone to say it. My only purpose is to show that a) JiB is apparently running Jack TV with Linux and b) if so, even Linux isn't 100% trouble free. Besides, it may not even have been a crash, and if it was it was just as likely the application and not the OS. Someone with more Linux experience may even recognize what a brace of penguins in the upper left corner of the screen signifies.
